Now being the type of person I am, I thought I would mention to the surgery manager a cheaper and more effective way of going about keeping the plant beds looking good. You guessed it, I talked to her about rubber mulch, the fact that they would not have to spray it, to fend off the fungal infections the plants can get, the fact that rubber mulch does not give off that horrible smell that wooden mulch does and that it lasts longer than she could imagine, so saving the surgery’s budget.

By the end of our chat I had convinced her that rubber mulch was the way to go and she agreed with me whole heartedly. Not only that, but she is also going to start using it around her garden.
