When we think about our children, do we really think about what we are leaving them?

Sure we do, but the majority of us are only thinking in material terms by building up our wealth, so it can be theirs when we die.

Really we should start thinking about how and where they are going to live. Our earth is damaged but it’s not beyond repair yet. What we do environmentally wise will affect our children and their children.

When should we start educating their little minds about environmental issues?

Do you think that they will want to live somewhere that is just hot or cold that has no seasons?

Our environment now is not the same as it was 20 years ago. The environment is changing all the time. We already have the problem of the ice caps melting. 20 years ago, no one in the mainstream thought this would happen. It was just a possibility, now it is a reality.

So when do you think we should start telling our children about the prospects of major flooding, loss of huge land areas or heat that is just too hot for our crops to grow?

All these threats are imminent reality that will cause hundreds and thousands of people to die and force the survivors to leave the country. Where will they go? What country will take them in? International relations today are not in a fit state to handle this.

If we all start taking action today, and teaching our kids how to take appropriate action as well, maybe, just maybe, we can make a real difference to the earth’s future.

If we all did things like recycling, this would have a major impact on the environment. So let’s teach our kids from an early age, before kinder garden, before anyone else can impart their views on them how to treat the earth with respect.

This way we will give our children’s future a chance and all help save the environment before a catastrophe strikes and renders our earth useless.

We can teach them from the earliest age possible and definitely before their teenage years when their minds are made up and other matters already fill up their brains.

Let’s all rally around and give our children an earth they can look forward to living on. A life where their children are not going to have to worry about the climate because their forefathers looked after it. They will look after the earth because they will have been taught how to do it, as part of everyday life.

So let’s leave our children an earth they can be proud of to look after. www.RubberMuclh.com
